Over in Anaheim, CA, Fisker Automotive continues its hiring binge with the automaker’s headcount in Orange County expected to rise from its current level of 300 to 400 by the end of 2011, according to The Orange County Register.
Fisker spokesman Roger Ormisher says that, including contract laborers, Fisker employs over 600 workers in the U.S.. Furthermore, Ormisher says that most of the hirings in Orange County will be for engineering and technical positions.
If you recall, Fisker Automotive recently posted advertisements for job openings at its Delaware facility. The automaker is looking to hire 120 employees, including engineers, electro-mechanical technicians and production workers by the end of 2011 as its gears up for production of Project Nina.
