Sabine Schmitz works Exagon Motors Furtive-eGT electric supercar on the ‘Ring

“Just brilliant.” That was the verdict rendered by Nürburgring maestro Sabine Schmitz on the Exagon Motors Furtive-eGT, the electric sports car introduced at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. We don’t know how she ended up in the car, but she had nothing bad to say about it, praising its low center of gravity, acceleration, grip, brakes and a ride that was like “floating on a cloud.” She appears to be echoing the comments of French journalists who were given hot laps of Magny-Cours in the Furtive-eGT by Niocholas Prost.

We’ll be seeing the production version of the electric coupe at next month’s Paris Motor Show. The first version got from 0 to 60 in 3.5 seconds, had an electric range of 150 miles at 68 miles per hour and offered a range-extending engine as an option. Yet with the customer variant predicted to be even more powerful and get a larger battery, its electric numbers should be even better. You can watch Sabine gather her impressions in the video below.
