Lexus bumps up price of CT 200h, HS 250h for 2012

For 2012 Model Year vehicles, Lexus retained 2011 pricing for most of its offerings, but decided to up the sticker price for the compact CT 200h Premium and HS 250h.

For 2012, the CT 200h gets a pedestrian warning system and sees Nebula Gray Pearl appear as an exterior hue. Those are minor changes and so to is the price bump: $350 for the CT 200h Premium and $0 for the lesser CT 200h. So, for $29,120 (plus $875 in destination charges) the base 2012 CT 200h can be bought, or for $2,130 more, the Premium version of Lexus’ hybrid hatch could be yours.

Meanwhile, the Lexus HS 250h adds more ecological plastic to the fabric, carpeting and package tray for 2012 and can get blasted with that Nebula Gray Pearl hue. Both the base HS 250h and the Premium version jump up in price by $700 for 2012, so now it’ll cost you at least $37,030 (plus $875 in destinations charges) to snag even the cheapest HS 250h. Unless you’re good at talking dealers down, of course.
