Yesterday, EV Connect announced that Fisker has selected it as the “exclusive EVSE services provider” for the automaker’s plug-in Karma. Under terms of this agreement, EV Connect will install and service EVSEs for future Karma owners and 47 Fisker dealerships located throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Before Fisker Karmas depart the showroom floor, EV Connect will initiate the installation of their Fisker-branded charging equipment. Working behind the scenes, EV Connect will ship the charging equipment to Karma owners, perform a home or workplace site assessment, install the unit and handle all permit requirements. EV Connect will also serve as the point of contact for the purchase and ongoing maintenance of all Fisker-branded EVSEs.

Brett Hauser, chief operating officer of EV Connect, says that:

A brand like Fisker requires a platform that shares the same efficient, technology-driven DNA to seamlessly support the nationwide roll-out of Karma chargers. From order fulfillment to installation and warranty repair, our proprietary web-based solution provides the level of transparency and service that Fisker customers and retailers expect from this new line of luxury electric vehicles.

With a concrete deal like this, it seems like the time to get them Fisker Karmas out on the open road has finally arrived.
