Last week, we introduced the world to the Veritas RS III Hybrid Roadster and now we’ve got the first batch of live pics of the 600-hp hyper sled in the flesh.
As a refresher, the Veritas uses the same 507-horsepower BMW-sourced V10 as its conventionally-powered sibling, but packs a 105 kW motor between the front axles to bring total output over 600 hp, and in the process making the Roadster all-wheel-drive.
Vermot, the crew behind this latest RS III derivative, claims the 2,821-pound roadster can hit 60 in 3.1 seconds, max out at 205 mph and cruise for 31 miles on electric power alone. Production is set to begin later this summer, but pricing hasn’t been announced. Although it’s safe to assume that it’ll command a hefty premium over the standard sled’s 340,000 euro sticker, or just under $500,000.
