Can we ask a favor? Vote for ABG in Treehugger’s “Best Transportation Website” poll

Call it pure self promotion and label us selfish, but as long as we can count on your vote in TreehHugger’s “Best Green Transportation” poll, then we could care less.

The king of general green news websites, TreeHugger, has nominated AutoblogGreen to its Best of Green 2011 “Best Transportation Website” category and it’s up to you (our readers) to help decide which site is most deserving of the win.

As expected, AutoblogGreen faces some stiff competition from other exceptional green automotive sites including our friends over at Gas 2.0, Green Car Congress, Hybrid Cars and EcoModder. We’re all friends, sure, but we’d like to win. So, can we ask a favor? Please vote for ABG. We believe you can vote once each day until voting closes Friday, April 1st and you can cast your vote(s) right over here.

TreeHugger is also taking a poll to see what’s the best current and upcoming electric cars, where the Nissan Leaf and Fisker Karma are currently kicking behinds and taking names. Vote in those contests here and here – after you’ve voted for ABG, of course.
